Could you champion a child’s education in 2022?

This January, we're asking our supporters to set up a regular donation to help us to provide long-term support to children who use English as an additional language (EAL). Many of the young people Jacari supports have experienced language and learning loss due to the Covid-19 pandemic and desperately need extra tuition.

By setting up a regular donation this January, you’ll become one of our Jacari Champions, supporting us to tackle the devastating impact of the pandemic on disadvantaged refugee, asylum-seeking and migrant children’s education.

All donations match-funded!

We're delighted that a generous, anonymous donor has offered to match fund every donation, so your donations will go twice as far.

Donate £15 a month and Jacari will receive £30. Add on Gift Aid and that takes it to £37.50 a month which is enough to fund one child’s tuition over one year. This includes recruiting and training a volunteer tutor, providing teaching resources and access to an online learning platform and attendance at four kids’ events.

Securing regular donations from our supporters will help our small charity become more stable, giving us a predictable and regular income, so we can provide long-term support to children who use EAL in Bristol and Oxford. All donations will go directly towards running our programme, providing regular tuition to children with EAL to build their confidence and language skills and help them get back on track with their education.
