Jacari (www.jacari.org) is an Oxford charity which provides free one-on-one tuition for local children who do not speak English as a first language. We’re currently recruiting for the next full-time Jacari Coordinator, who will be responsible for managing the organisation through the academic year of 2017-2018. This is an exciting and varied post which offers a fantastic opportunity to get hands-on leadership experience in the non-profit sector, and have a great time doing it.
Pay: c. £19,000
Hours: 37.5 hours a week
Holiday: 42 days per year

CHAIR OF TRUSTEES
We’re currently recruiting for the next Chair of Trustees, who will oversee governance of the charity for the next 3-4 years. The new Chair will take up the position on 1st July 2017.
The Chair of Trustees is responsible for:
- Line managing the Coordinators of Jacari, who manage the day-to-day running
- Leading the board of trustees and recruiting new trustees to the board
- Organising quarterly trustee meetings and an annual strategy meeting
- Chairing trustee meetings and following up on action points that arise
- Ensuring the charity’s compliance with charities commission regulations
The position would suit an enthusiastic and skilled individual looking to develop leadership skills in third sector governance. The new Chair will receive a full induction from the current Chair.
