Jacari Oxford has recently moved to a new shared office space at the Old Schoolhouse. We are so excited to be part of this new venture - transforming an old Victorian primary school building into a community hub in the heart of East Oxford – a place to work, connect and grow.
We are renting desks in the co-working space, as well as having access to a range of meeting rooms and event spaces which can be used for volunteer training and other Jacari events.
We've really enjoyed getting to know the other co-workers and community groups using the various spaces. It's such a friendly, supportive space, ideal for Jacari, allowing us to build connections with other local organisations and share our work with more people in the communities we serve. The office is also close to some of our partner schools, making it convenient to visit in-school sessions.
We have our library of learning resources and games there, so volunteers are welcome to come and borrow items. Our Jacari Oxford Coordinator, Anna Billson (covering for Shaiane while she's on maternity leave) will be working full-time at the Old Schoolhouse so if you'd like to pop-in, please get in touch with Anna and to arrange a time.
